If we here scuba divingwe think of the wide ocean, corals and watching sharks swimming around. Scuba diving has a huge advantage over snorkelling and free-diving and that’s the fact that someone can stay longer under water because he or she carries the scuba set.
If we take a look on diving history itself we can see that Sieur Freminet tried to build the very first scuba device in 1772. Unfortunately, his attempt wasn’t crowned with success. It took an entire century until Henry Fleuss developed the first working scuba device in 1876. That year was a mile stone in diving history and people have been fascinated by scuba diving since then.
Scuba diving doesn’t require an ocean; it can be done almost everywhere. Especially the Southwest USA provides some magnificent areas for this particular sport. Hence, many people are not aware that diving in Arizona is one of the most exciting things you can do during your trip to the United States of America.
Since scuba diving became such an exciting hobby for so many people, a medium for information exchange was required. This need was met by the publication of the scuba diver magazine. This magazine has been an important source of information for everybody who is interested scuba diving.
